The Colts did not get a single first down in the entire first half. The Chiefs scored on their first four possessions. Plus, they've broken the playoff curse. This is a brand new team, complete with essentially a rookie quarterback who set (and broke) a whole lot of records all season.

All during the regular season the offensive line in front of Mahomes didn't do a very good job of protecting him, and still they won all those games, got a first round bye and so on and so forth. They were vastly better last week.

And while the Patriots are a pretty good team, Arrowhead is considered to be the loudest stadium in the entire NFL, and anyone who thinks tomorrow's cold will slow down or mute the fans, doesn't understand the fans.

They waited 30 years to win a second World Series. 50 years for another Super Bowl seems about right.

And no matter the outcome of tomorrow's game, Patrick Mahomes has only started his career and has already put up numbers that many Hall of Fame quarterbacks would envy.

"On behalf of the New England Patriots organization, I want to express our support as you travel to Washington for this weekend's March for Our Lives," the letter reads. "In the wake of incredible tragedy, we have hurt for you, mourned with you and been inspired by you. It is an honor for us to now partner with you as you push for progress. Your community is stirring our country towards a better future. That is the true mark of a patriot. Thank you for your leadership and inspiration. And went on to praise Trump's "accomplishments".

Robert Kraft is a longtime friend of Trump he said he was the only one to give him a call for a year after his wife died to check how he's doing.

--

“The problem we have is, we have a president who will use that as fodder to do his mission that I don’t feel is in the best interests of America,” said Kraft, who is a longtime supporter of Mr. Trump’s. “It’s divisive and it’s horrible.”

The Coach, maybe, but he is a complex dude, an anti hunger campaigner, build playing fields for poor kids, supports Trump, complete dichotomy.

The owner is a big charity giving guy, best buds with Trump and John Bon Jovi (who despises Trump).

But how the team prepare: they just out think and out work everyone else, with about six cases over 18 years where they lost big games, and two of those losses, to the Giants in the Super Bowl, were a razor edge from being wins.

BTW, I want to comment on the football inflation controversy. Anyone that know anything about gas chemistry know that gas contracts in cold weather, footballs and other balls in the elements become softer, which is what happened with all of the footballs that were exposed in the Patriots-Colts AFC Championship game. The NFL ran a measurement program the season after, but destroyed the data without reporting it, I am pretty sure I know what was found out, and that would have embarrassed the NFL after it spent millions to fine Brady.

But I heartly dislike the patriots for all the cheating..stealing communications from the other teams...air pressure...beligcheck running out onto the field before the game is over..the one he lost and ended his
perfect season....I'm not a big saints fan either...something about a team that puts bounty's on other teams players.

I will celebrate with champagne on the day each of them die and given the chance, I would gladly urinate on their graves as well...

As for the Patriots, the thing that bothers me about their success is the sheer volume of help the opposing teams and coaches have provided to them...to wit:

2002 - Rams - played into Belicheck's hand by Mike Martz refusing to run the ball (with Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk and Hall of Famer Orlando Pace available...), instead forcing throws against 7 and 8 DB looks for nearly the entire game (side note - this was also still the era where the referees allowed the Pats to cheat on defense and mug receivers by swallowing the whistle and sticking their flags in their asses - same thing they did to Manning and the Colts several times)...Pats win on last second FG, also greatly abetting Brady's drive to FG range by playing soft, "prevent" coverages...

2004 - Panthers - tied the game at 29...promptly kicked the ball OB and gave the Pats the ball at the 40 yard line with timeouts and perfect conditions...result? 2nd time Vinateri wins game on last second kick.

2005 - Eagles - McNabb started hyperventilating and vomiting on the field during the last chance drive that sealed another 3 point win for the Pats...this one was the LEAST amount of help given to them during their run of titles...

2015 - Seahawks - Carroll's decision to NOT hand the ball to Lynch on the 1 yard line, instead throwing a pass that was picked off, was reminiscent of his decision to NOT have Reggie Bush on the field in the USC-Texas Rose Bowl game years earlier...just DUMB AS A BOX OF ROCKS coaching GAVE THAT AWAY!

2017 - Falcons - 28-3 lead? AND THEY LOST???? All they had to do was RUN THE BALL and NOT TAKE SACKS...instead? Ryan takes late sack (HAS to know better than that, HAS to!!!), loses FG position with 8 point lead that would have iced the game and instead allowed the comeback to be completed. A hideous choke job that NONE of those players - Ryan, Jones, et al. - will EVER recover from...

The SB losses to the Giants and the Eagles just so happened to be the 3 times their opponent did NOT choke or help them win the game in mind numbing manners. Greatest ever? Bah! The Steelers of the 70's, Niners of the 80's or Cowboys of the 90's would dominate them.

Whomever I was listening to on the radio, an ex-player, I think, said that when they show up to camp, the first rule is: know all the rules. Then they go over all the rule changes and learn them.

Just an example of why they win - attention to detail (remember when Donovan McNabb did not know that a pro game could end in a tie, for example, so his game ended up in a tie?)

Pats are not "America's Team". Every team is America's team. Unfortunately, I think they will make it to Super Bowl. KC looks really beat up. They beat the Colts handily but Colts were pretty beat up, too. I'd much rather see KC in the Super Bowl.

I ask 2 questions, they answer only one. Try to keep up. Jeez.
