10-Year-Old Boy Wins Science Fair By Questioning if Tom Brady is a Cheater

By JENNA WEST January 24, 2019
Science fairs are a rite of passage in elementary school and one clever 10-year-old just won his by asking the question on so many Americans' minds–is Tom Brady a cheater?

Ace Davis from Millcreek Elementary in Lexington, Ky., focused his project on Deflategate, telling nfldraftdiamonds.com how the Super Bowl-winning quarterback inspired it.

"I hate Tom Brady," Ace said. "He's been accused of cheating before. I want him to be caught."

The young quarterback hypothesized that "under-inflated footballs provide a competitive advantage in a game." It looks like Ace, his mom and sister put the theory to test. He even included hand-drawn charts and graphs of his findings like all good science fair projects should have.

Ace found that "The Patriots were found guilty of doctoring football [sic], thus losing $1,000,000 and future draft picks. Tom Brady is indeed a cheater." He also included a photo of the Patriots' quarterback crying to make sure we get the message. Brady's getting no sympathy from this little scientist.

He is reminding everyone that honesty does matter. In the land of big money though, it does not.

Kid copied shit from the internet and made a poster. Where is his experiment, because if I recall correctly the whole point of a science fair was for kids to do science. He's a silly 10 year old. His parents, teacher, and everyone involved in the science fair need to have their asses kicked and the writer is a lazy flack. Other than that it was great. Never again wonder why kids aren't learning...

He found that somewhat softer balls travelled farther, that led to his conclusion that Brady was a cheater because Brady is one of the NFL QBs that prefer balls at the bottom of the inflation range.

What the little tike didn't go into was why a ball can become softer when exposed to cold weather. But he is not alone, many here on DU that call Brady a cheater won't delve into the natural reason why balls deflate with left exposed to the cold (the old NFL method was to protect them from rain, but not from temperature, now I read that they keep balls in temperature controlled containers on the sidelines to control their inflation level (which, by the way proves their fine of Brady was illegitimate).
