I know it's an old game but I love it for its mod-ability. I haven't played Bannerlord yet.

Many many years ago.
How is Bannerlord?

(17,148 posts)I got it in pre-release, and they have continued updating and improving it. If I had a better system it would probably be great, lol. 13E, '80s.

(6,131 posts)I will probably get it one day.
When you were 13E did you have the BCS to calculate firing data?
I was in the 101st. We and the 82nd were the first units to field the BCS. We still had a FADOC(?) in inventory in our conex. We pulled the giant case out for IG inspections but I never saw it opened. Just before we got the BCS, my battery did an exchange with the Canadians and I spent a month up north. They were doing all their firing calculations on a programmable TI calculator.

(6,131 posts)for firing data. It was a big HP calculator looking thing with different plug in chips for different weapons systems. My next battalion used the BCS with BUCs as backup. I was in I-Corps artillery for the duration of my service. Nothing real exciting since we were all general support artillery or GSR.
I will have to check out Bannerlord this holiday season when I have some time away from work.
