Anyone used one of these for backpacking? (Original Post) SHRED May 2017 OP
Wow, that is neat. I recall well in my scouting hiking days my backpack killing my back. RKP5637 May 2017 #1

Wheelbarrow for camping gear. Maybe I would be interested if I had so much stuff I could no longer reasonably pack it in my Osprey Atmos but otherwise it looks like an invitation to bring way too much stuff, IMO of course.

You don't need to carry a lot.
It keeps the weight off your back.

but trying to pull it up a hill makes me think it would put a lot of stress on the lower back. I know I'd be leaning forward in the traces which would do my lower back no favors.

Part of being an experiencing hiker is knowing what and how much to pack. Unless you are a sherpa moving things to base camp, I really dont see the point. You should be able to carry everything you need in a well organized backpack.

The trails I hiked (I think) were too rugged and mountainous for that.
