Can you guess I have a special fondness for cedars?

somehow split 'recently,' so neighbor/landlord hired arborist to prune and work to save, keep entire tree from falling down bank into river
Strapped, for temporary fix. He's bought bands, hope they work. Gonna be an adventure, this spring/summer. I think he hopes front part o tree can be saved.
Definitely an EASTERN cedar!

Will get pics of the tree in the morning!
Landlord is sentimental about the tree, which has been here many years, since landlord's grandma watched it grow! Plaque with her name is on the tree.
She also placed magnolia too close to house, so lots of shade for me and house due to these 2 lovelies! Magnolia is also HUGE!!!
