..the one thing that continues to bring ridicule on an otherwise awesome game is the dramatics of the contestants when they are fouled...falling to the ground as if they had been shot, only to get up 30 seconds later if the ref signals play-on makes them look like a bunch of poofters...

and something should be done about it. The refs already have the option of carding a player for simulation. It's so subjective though, and there are enough dodgy calls as is, but in this case with Pepe it's obviously an act, a poor one at that, so I think a yellow card was warranted..

...and it's a real shame because they've all got real talent on the field, but that make themselves look like complete wankers with their "I've been shot!!!" acting every time someone gets within a whisker of them..

If the refs actually carded for all of the acting there'd be no-one left on the pitch...

The Reina-Perch head butt a week ago was a classic. Reina tried to head butt Perch but came up short, Perch fell down like he had been poleaxed. It really was hilarious until Reina drew a red card. It's too bad FIFA doesn't review games and hand out penalties for obvious dives caught on film. Might make the worst offenders think twice before trying out their latest Oscar performance.

Sure Perch sold it like a used car, but it was violent conduct; Pepe lost his cool.

I wish FIFA would review after the games and hand out red cards to all the fakers

As well as an additional 3 match ban for Balotelli for the red card he should have gotten against Arsenal for the legbreaker on Song against Arsenal.

As some cards should be awarded based on post-match video review, some cards should be rescinded as well, of course.

A 3 match ban for every dive, doubling with each offence. I've never met a football fan yet who disagrees with that. Get with it FIFA, you bloody geriatric dinosaurs, you!
