Commiserations mate. Carol was immense today when he came on, but it was too late. I'm afraid it wasn't quite all the way over the line either. Kudos to the officials.

My wife's distraught and has retreated to the bedroom.

On a positive note, I think Di Matteo is sheer class and I'm happy for him.

We got overrun in midfield (NO LUCAS LEIVA) I have been praising him since the last 5 matches of 08-09 when we came second. I wish the people that have been slating him now realize he is the rock and without him we are shit. He still has the most tackles and interceptions and he hasn't played in months! I hope for Stevie G's sake the FSG group gets him the players he needs to make a run at it next year. Although citeh will just sign 5 more strikers and win it again.
Cheers

I was watching LFC with a Wycombe W fan this weekend not the results we were looking for.

They only took about 450 and consequently got their support switched to the windy corner while Owls fans took over the Leppings Lane end (a rare event!). Attendance of 38082 puts most of the premier league to shame!

Here's some footage of the celebrations at the end of the match.
