I feel a bit bad for Bale and for Spurs. Thankfully the injury doesn't seem as bad as, say, Toni Kroos' recent muscle rupture, but without Bale Tottenham are a mid-table team at best.

I'm an Arsenal supporter, but it does seem Spurs have some rotten luck sometimes. They finish 4th, only for Chelsea to win the CL and so they don't get a CL spot. Then there was the food poisoning from bad lasagne just before a big match.

(488 posts)Some teams just can't ever seem to get a break it seems. I hope Villas-Boas was right that the injury will only take a few weeks to recover from. Tottenham haven't won a game this calendar year that Bale hasn't scored in.
Great job by your team a few weeks ago against die Roten by the way. They've been playing pretty impressive football since that match, really. If you can win out, apart from two weeks from now when you play Norwich (my EPL team of choice), I would be really happy for you guys. I'm hoping for a top four at season's end of Man Ure, Man City, Tottenham, and Arsenal. I've never really liked Chelsea, but after what happened in Munich last May I hope they are completely left out of Europe for the next several years...
