My wife and I adopted 3 kids from the foster system and 2 years later she was diagnosed with cancer and it is now a 3 year battle so far.
She has 2 cousins who are Greek Orthodox nuns who can’t be bothered to help us because they are busy chasing goats and making soap.

nonJews into alleys and circumcise them. I'll bet that their first stop after surgery was to a pagan temple to bribe the god to heal them and stop infection. I double any of the victims were inspired to show up at a Jewish meeting place...unless with armed friends.

The original Christianity was purely voluntary. Baptism was only performed on adults capable of dedicating themselves to the teachings and lifestyle which their behaviors and choices must then reflect. Even later, Origen's famous catechism school involved years of study. He admitted that the informed teachers would have to change their conversation if a less knowledgeable student came within earshot. Needless to say, infant baptism didn't exist...and definitely nothing as fast-foody as running up and saying you accept Jesus as your personal savior in return for eternal paradise.

Nevertheless, the priest displayed his own ignorance.
