1. Christianity is nationalism.

We define it as an ideology that “demands Christianity be privileged by the State and implies that to be a good (insert country), one must be Christian.
Christianity didn't take off until Constantine made it the official religion of Rome, and it spread from there. The U.S is a Christian Nationalist country even now, shoot, how many atheists do you see run for congress? Or even the Presidency? It hasn't been that long since we enslaved black people and even shorter since we gave them some of the rights white people have now. I say some because we can say we did but we all know we really didn't. Not really. We just like to pretend. Many who propagate Christian Nationalism seek to dismantle the voting rights of Pennsylvanians, disenfranchise poor people, the elderly, people of color, women and LGBTQ people in order to further their political agenda. This is not the way of Christ. Have you looked at a history book? Cause that's like almost all I see. I mean, the bible even tells you how to treat your slaves. How to treat your slaves. All that being said I get it, I'm not attacking your religion, I'm just saying that the track record for Christianity is for the by far majority not what you are saying. There have been decent inroads to what these people are describing, but those are pretty recent as far as the history of Christianity is going. You can point out outliers in any age, but the majority are Christian Nationalists in one form or another. Be they Hebrews, Roman, Norman, Danes, French, British, Irish, German,,,, I can keep going. This whole Christian Nationalism is not Christianity just defies history.
