By Brett Tingley last updated about 3 hours ago
The hearing will include testimony from a whistleblower who has alleged the Pentagon is hiding evidence of "non-human intelligence."
If the truth really is out there when it comes to what the U.S. government knows about UFOs, we may get a little closer to it today.
On Wednesday (July 26), the United States House of Representatives will hear testimony from three witnesses regarding unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP, a new term that encompasses not just unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the air, but also any craft or phenomena that are seen in space or underwater that can't be identified.
The hearing will be held by the House's Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs and will include testimony from former U.S. military and intelligence community personnel who claim to have come in contact with craft that defy physics and known flight capabilities or have even seen evidence of "non-human intelligence."
The hearing will be livestreamed on YouTube by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee starting at 10 a.m. EDT (1400 GMT) on Wednesday (July 26). Watch it live here courtesy of the committee.

(30,138 posts)or at least produce factual evidence that aliens are visiting the planet and thinking of destroying the solar system for a hyperspace bypass (plans on file)... all while reciting really bad poetry.

(130 posts)Its frustrating that DU folks here that are supposed to be intellectuals are making dumb, sophmoric jokes about this UFO hearing. One of the reasons that data on this subject is supressed is because of the ridicule that will follow the witnesses that come forward. On this subject, some here sound every bit as dumb as MAGAts.

They've not seen all the evidence. The gov't has evidence, according to a trusted source, a former military officer who was also a NASA contractor. Why governments are not disclosing all we have/ know so far? The fact that it would alarm most ppl is only my best guess. Then, there's religious beliefs that would stumble to explain other intelligent life.
And why are we not reverse engineering more of the tech? We probably don't know how.

(2,156 posts)It was so very interesting to hear what the witnesses had to say about their experiences and perspectives. Representatives AOC and Raskin had good questions and comments. Wish I had seen the beginning of the hearing. There were references to a News Nation article, which I look forward to reading:

Thanks Judi Lynn for posting the livestream link. Much appreciated.

(64,095 posts)I've been seeing it for probably two years or more, always with the same voiceover.
They could have made this guy a great ponderer, with dozens of different ruminations as he twizzles away on the beach.
But no. One-and-done, and we have to see it ad infinitum.

(4,728 posts)numerous species that exhibit observable intelligence, but because they don't do twitter or soap operas and burn a lot of fuel, it doesn't count.
How would we even recognize alien intelligences? By seeing if they drive cars?
