Atheists & Agnostics
Related: About this forumShould I contact T-Mobile or just ignore it?
Last night our internet speeds were seriously low (like 1/3 of what they normally are). I contacted T-Mobile customer support. The woman was polite, engaging, and helpful. She couldn't fix the problem (because I didn't know the pin number Paul used to set up the account), and I told her I'd have Paul check tomorrow.
We said our good byes, and then before she logged out she told me how god had made the day or some shit.
I was shocked, but didn't say anything other than bye.
The question: Do I contact corporate? I don't care what you believe, but it really isn't appropriate to say in chat while you're at work.

Something like that happening is quite unprofessional.

(2,627 posts)but resist the temptation and just say "thanks." It's a verbal tick for some people, kind of meaningless but shows where they're at as far as reasoning power, maybe. Keep it superficial.

Without thinking I said, I didnt know he was lost. He was an older guy and looked a little surprised and the two teenagers behind me snickered. I added, When was he last seen? The teens laughed out loud and the old guy looked confused and turned away.

But if you add a complaint to the list, which if she is saying stuff like this to others she got. It will speed up the process.

(13,385 posts)If it were in a store and didn't involve a single person, I would feel differently.
About three years ago, I was in a White Castle (New Jersey) and Jesus was on the screen. No identifiable employee was involved. I complained to the number on the receipt and got a thank you and a coupon for a couple of free hamburgers.
Jesus hasn't been on the set during any of my subsequent visits.
Fuck.
No more free burgers for me.
