I love it when people/skeptics try to find ways to copy what machines and people have experienced. They miss the point entirely. The original experiences were not copies or fakes so when making copies to try to disprove original experiences they fail every time. Of course we can try to explain anything odd or unusual, we do it all the time. That doesn't mean that the originals are fake. It merely is the ability to copy something else and is not proof that something is real or fake.

(49,020 posts)and he knocks all that stuff down pretty handily. The disappointing thing to me is that the Navy and pentagon hasn't done their own debunking.

(43,049 posts)Years ago, when I paid more attention to this stuff than I do now, there were always a few that defied any explanation. The question was then, as now, when will an explanation show up? If ever? And no explanation just meant no explanation, not that aliens were involved.
The triangles, though, woke me up. If anyone sees the bow wave (or whatever it's called) of an aircraft attaining supersonic speed, it is a triangle. I was thinking that the oddball filtrations being used could have made that wave visible. His explanation makes more sense.

(49,020 posts)more than likely he has analyzed your tougher one if it is from the navy pentagon release.

(46,787 posts)But TO DATE, that is as I'm writing this, the actual evidence say these are mistakes, misidentifications, and more than just a few outright lies and hoaxes.
So far, none, that is, NONE or these videos from the Navy or anyone else prove they are "alien ships."
I really, honestly hope that some day an alien ship stops by and the guys inside say "Hello."
But there are just too many that are touted as "genuine" by crazies, zealots, and con artists.

(26,719 posts)I'll watch more of them later on. While I am highly skeptical that we actually are being visited by aliens, I'm willing to remain open to the possibility. But people just enthusiastically accepting every bogus film, photograph, or report, only makes it worse.

(34,760 posts)when I presented Phil Klass' explanations/debunking of some high profile UFO cases, they reacted as if Klass were a Nazi war criminal.

(34,760 posts)who are pushing back on the skeptics is they think the skeptics are saying the witnesses are lying or hallucinating.
They don't seem to grasp that we know they saw something, but they could just be mistaking in interpreting what they saw.
We aren't talking about alien abductions here.

(49,020 posts)just whether or not there is evidence and what that evidence can or cannot show. I used to make attempts at reasoning through that process with others. These days I just want to see the evidence, not so interested in narratives, feelings, memories, etc, when it comes to this subject.
