Based on Kennedy’s record of science denialism, alarmism, spreading baseless conspiracy narratives, and support for quackery, he should never have been chosen for any kind of role within the Department of Health and Human Services, especially the role of leading the whole department. His unfitness for the position was evident at two Senate hearings. Nobody should believe his statements contradicting positions he took throughout his career. It would be catastrophic if the Senate votes to confirm the Kennedy nomination.
