2. There's a workaround on links like this when DU software screws up a link due to certain special characters or sequences

of characters.

Put the link in and post it -- do not do Preview, do not Edit the post, post the link. Preview and Edit are when the nefarious DU software screws up the links.

If one has saved the correct link in Word or Notepad or otherwise have it available, then one can edit one's post, making sure one replaces the now screwed-up link with the correct link. And post (no previewing first).
