Several spots in Erie county are already reporting 2 feet of snow or more piling up.

BUFFALO, N.Y. Snow totals so far have already exceeded 2 feet, including in Alden, Angola, Lancaster, West Seneca and Hamburg.
The lake effect snow storm snow totals coming in so far show Alden has already received 32 inches of snow, Angola 27 inches, Hamburg also 27 inches, Elma 23.8 inches, Lancaster 26 inches, Eden 22 inches, West Seneca 26 inches, Corfu 21 inches, Millgrove 20 inches, Orchard Park 17 inches, Middleport 17 inches, Marilla 16 inches, East Aurora 15 inches, Lockport 15 inches, Darien Center 14.5 inches, North Tonawanda 12 inches, Pembroke 12 inches, East Amherst 8.5 inches, Buffalo 11 inches, and the Buffalo Airport 8 inches which broke the old daily record snowfall amount of 7.8 inches set back in 1963 on this date of January 14th, all according to the
National Weather Service.
