A 5 year old grieving

My niece said a few mornings ago her daughter, one of my parents 12 (soon to be 14) great grandchildren, had a meltdown. She boo hooed. When she calmed down enough to talk she said "I want grandpa Pete back, I want to see him." I know the feeling.

It broke my heart but also made me glad she got to know Dad and will remember him. Dad adored the kids and they him.

Okay, time for my meltdown.
