Easter Sunday 2004

I met a 15 year old young woman. I brought her a 5 ft easter bunny. It seems like yesterday. We went through life together, I paid 3000 dollars, when she turned 22, to adopt her.
What a life she had, what a life, she gave to me. she never talked, never walked, but oh ,, how she lived! We did everything together, she met every Nascar driver, she played catch with Tyler Lockett on C-Link field, sometimes, I felt I was " using her" to gain access. But, she always took the stage, I was just the guy, who pushed wheelchair, she was the Star.
This feels, like a bad dream. I don't know what to do.

but I've always found that when those tidal waves of grief threaten to knock you over, remembering that people have said "Let me know if there's anything I can do" has helped me to stay upright and keep breathing so, and I mean this, please let me know if there's anything I can do.

It is so painful to lose someone that we care deeply for.

I love this quote by AA Milne
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

embrace the memories.
