I'm a slight Introvert. Otherwise, I'm a functional conservative vocationally with following the rules, making priorities, not going off the script and using my imagination.
I'm an introvert because I've discovered in my decades of employment that whatever you say at work can be and will be used against you. I now prefer being left alone to fulfill my job duties. I'm social enough to listen to other people and to collaborate, but only when absolutely necessary.

I do pretty well despite my indifference, but I probably won't go any further. I just can't pretend that I care any more than I do.

(11,681 posts)I think I've given myself brain damage, cause it's really hard to talk out loud to other people still. But I found this little hole in DU that led me to this post, that led me to say hi. Perhaps we might be what humanity needs after all, the loving introverts.
