She was THE pioneer, who paved the way for Korean artists to succeed in Japan. Before BoA, female performers weren't strong dancers; she raised the bar for everybody.

It upsets me when today's uninformed K-pop "fans" (who aren't true fans) don't even know about her. That's like not knowing who The Beatles were.
