Annoying Tourists in Japan, no respect

1. OMG 恥ずかしさを感じます

In lived in Tokyo for four years in the 1980s. There were some jerks then, but nothing like this. I am so ashamed.

2. Horrendous

It seems like the social media mindset, if I can call it that, is part of the problem. Some think any kind of unusual behavior -- even obnoxious behavior -- is acceptable on the grounds that it will get views when posted. (Loved the Godzilla roar/scream sound effect, by the way.)

3. The ugly American has been around for a long time..

While traveling in Italy n the 60's, I overheard one of my fellow travelers say "they don't even speak English".

4. My fellow Americans

Embarrassed all of us.
The Marine slamming the taxi door, they self close, to him screaming at the driver to speak English .
That is why in all my travels, I avoid Americans!
Judge me for me. I get along fine.
