150 Belgian anti-Israel activists have stormed the Israeli-owned defense company OIP Land Systems and destroyed armored vehicles that were about to be sent to the Ukrainian Army.

OIP has provided Ukraine with around 260 armored vehicles since the war started.

The attackers mistakenly believed the equipment at OIP was destined for Israel, not Ukraine, leading to the destruction of vehicles intended for Ukrainian forces and needed to hold back Russian assaults against Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region.

The owners comments:

It's just ridiculous. Those people are clearly misinformed. We have absolutely nothing to do with the war in the Gaza Strip. We haven't supplied any materials to Israel for at least 20 to 25 years, we don't even have an export licence for that. And without such a licence, you cannot export military equipment. So we don't supply anything to Israel or the Israeli army. That is simply illegal and impossible. Our entire production currently goes to Ukraine...

“At the time of the raid, there was no one in the company. We had arranged for a night watchman, but unfortunately he was not there. The police were present. Officers escorted the activists to the company, but things quickly got out of hand. They entered our buildings with grinders and hammers. This was a very well-planned operation. At around 5.30 a.m., the police informed us of the raid by telephone.

They destroyed absolutely everything. They smashed everything in the desks, including computers, files and screens, as well as windows and containers. They then broke into the workshops, where they severely damaged and sprayed several vehicles. They went completely wild with spray cans and hammers. It was pure vandalism.

And most of the protesters were apparently women. I estimate about 80%. We can see that clearly in the video footage from the way they behave and how they use a hammer. A man does not use a hammer in that way."
