I have noticed that some of my comments do not appear complete when I view them on the screen

However when I go back to edit them they are complete as I typed them. What is causing this?

1. It would be helpful if you posted an example.

Take a screenshot of the edit window where this is occurring and post it here and then either copy the text here of the post as it appears or just provide the link to it. Without being able to see the before and after text, it is difficult to guess what might be causing it.

Off the top of my head, the most likely reason text would disappear from a post here is that there are square brackets in something being quoted or from misplaced tags and the software is trying to parse something as a formatting tag rather than displaying it as text. There has also been an issue with double quotes in titles truncating the text (although I believe that is fixed).

I noticed today when I signed on everything had been fixed. If it happens again, I will do as you have instructed. Thanks for your help.
