You have Clinton/Kane for your avatar--it's a good one! Some people haven't chosen a picture, so they get the generic one instead.
And some people put photos in the signature line, which is down at the bottom of each of their posts. I don't have a photo in mine; instead, I have a quote that I love and try to live up to.

In the response list, there used to only be yellow marks next to each one and now some of them have tiny pictures next to them. I'll send you a snip of what I mean on facebook since I don't know how to pull in the snip here.
