'Trash' and 'ignore' question

I have some people on 'Ignore' and I have some words/subjects 'trashed'.
Yet I see them on the "front page" of DU, and am able to click/read the thread.

Why is that?

I enjoy DU much more when I don't see them.

Apparently "ignore" doesn't work on the Home Page.

I trashed a thread,
have the OP on total ignore, have keywords blocked out, but yet it shows up...why?

1. Were you seeing the thread on the Homepage?

Because ignore doesn't work there.

and simply use the Latest Threads page. I find it is much easier to tolerate things overall.
