I don't know if this is the right place to do this but,
I'm having a really difficult time at the present. I'm behind on my November rent and if I don't come up with $1500 by the 14th I'm going to be homeless. I lost my job in the spring and have been scrapping it out ever since. I've been working as a carpenter for an elderly couple lately that really needed work on their home. I have work coming up that will probably take me through Dec. but, I have to get through Nov. first. Here's the link for anyone that wants me to get over the hump. gf.me/u/wkdv96
I know I don't comment here a lot but, I've been a loyal member for many years and I will for many years to come. I'm over halfway to my goal but, just need a little more of a boost so I can get even. I'm a good man and anyone that wants to question me is welcome to do so. DU helped save my apartment in 2012 after my husband had to enter a nursing home and I was stuck paying for my apartment and his nursing home until I was able to get help from Medicaid for him. I wasn't about to let them evict him, so my cats and I were in trouble. The wonderful folks at DU saved us all, so I try to do what I can to pay it forward.
We're family here. I hope things turn around for you soon.
