Uploading + viewing pictures

I uploaded some pictures to flickr. I made them public and seem to be able to get to them while not logged in, but linking from DU doesn't work. They don't preview and clicking the linke gets a 404 error. Pasing the link into a new tab does work.

2. I think it's the @ sign in the link that DU doesn't like

Thanks, but the photo(s) are uploaded, I just want to link them. I think Flikr's @ in the URL is maybe messing up with DU software?

Note I added spaces around the @ in that just to make sure it formatted OK

When I click on the link in DU here's where it goes:

"https://www.flickr.com/photos/190815354". Everything after the @ is cut off. Pasting the link into the browser takes me to the picture even when not logged into Flickr.

3. I use https://imgbb.com/

It's called URL encoding.

Usually works for any characters that don't work for DU links and images.

Edit to add:

If you want to display the image in your post, click on the 'share' arrow icon then choose 'BBCode', pick a size and copy the code into your post. Then delete everything but the image address inside the [img] tags.

Replacing the @ with %40 let me follow the link. You guessed my next problem which was imbedding and that worked. Bulletin Board Code - I'll have to remember that.

That URL encoding link might come in handy in the future, so thanks for that as well.
