would like to acquire

a star membership, but don't have a Paypal account and will never be part of that site...any other suggestions? And struggling with what info needed. My e-mail, I understand but won't accept the password. Is it DU password or e-mail password? No tech brain here.

I am not positive but I don't see DU asking for your email password. Try your DU password. nt GemDigger Mar 2021 #1

Pay as guest. You don’t have to have an account. I did it in Feb. I also don’t want a PayPal account but that is the only way to use your credit card to make the donation. Fyi

What are you aversions to using Paypal based on? I'm just curious because I do use it and if there's a reason to not use it, I'd like to know.

This was 10-15 years ago, all of a sudden, somebody used paypal to use my bank account. Their purchase was around 2,000 for some rare guitar. I caught it right away, went to the bank, called paypal to complain, still too me almost a week to get my money back, so I just don't trust it. It drives me crazy that so many sites use paypal and encourage you to sign up for it in order to purchase something.

I recall that I had a dispute a long time ago, but I think it had more to do with the seller. It wasn't a big amount, and apparently wasn't a very big deal because I don't really remember it.
