We need one.
I've had 2 relatively new posters over the span of several months ask me questions about abbreviations DUers often use.
Posters can't assume everyone knows what they're referring to.
Thanks!
Edited to add:
Here are some of the most commonly used ones:
ASAP: As Soon As Possible
ATM: At The Moment
DH - dear husband or hubby
GLWT: Good Luck With That
IDC: I Don't Care
IRL: In Real Life
IDK: I Don't Know
IKR: I Know, Right
IMHO: In My Humble Opinion
IMO: In My Opinion
IIRC: If I Recall/Remember Correctly
JK: Just Kidding
nt - no text in body of post
n00b: Newbie (novice); 'noob', The use of this can be considered offensive, and as such, it should not be used to describe others.
OP: Original post/poster
QFT: Quoted For Truth
ROFL: Rolling On the Floor Laughing
TBD: To Be Determined/Decided
TBC: To Be Continued
TBH: To Be Honest
Please add to this list.

(7,505 posts)Actually "nt" was the most baffling one for me to figure out when I first joined here. I thought it was "no thanks" for a while but it didn't always fit. I eventually got it.
