The signature is well within the limits, so not sure what's up.

(22,539 posts)403 is a connection error that randomly pops up from time to time, it's not usually anything to be concerned about -- however, if it happens over and over again when you're trying to perform a particular action, that's something we need to look at. Please let me know if you've tried multiple times and it just keeps happening.

(6,261 posts)Good WiFi (even changed locations) and tried it about 15 minutes apart. Still getting a 403.
I'll try again in a few hours.

This is on Opera with uBlock, Ghostery and Privacy Badger installed. I've not had the chance to use (clean) Edge yet but will try
EarlG
(22,539 posts)It's possible that one of those extensions is causing the connection to be interrupted. Let me know if you have any luck with Edge.

The signature I'm trying to change it to is:
"If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever." -- George Orwell
I can't see anything problematic in that either.

(22,539 posts)Are you using a VPN by any chance?
We will look into this further in the meantime I should be able to manually update your sig line, would you like me to do that?

(6,261 posts)And everything else works fine. The signature change isn't a big deal to me, so if you'd rather keep it as a reproducable bug/error event that's fine by me too. I'll be happy to retry changing it another time.
The 403 error is related to our firewall setup, which will occasionally refuse a connection for reasons best known to itself (lol). These connection errors are usually fixed with a simple page reload. However, if it's continually refusing a connection on the same page, then it could be something related to your unique configuration/connection, which might make it difficult for us to identify.
I just tried changing my sig line and it worked without issue, so if Elad can't reproduce the problem either, having us change the sig line for you might end up being the simplest solution. We'll look into it, but I'd say give it a try again tomorrow and see if it fixed itself, and if not then let me know and we can do the change for you.
