How to pick a username

After reading DU for a while, I signed up with a randomly generated username. I only post rarely (and sometimes wrongly, but I'm learning), and I would like to respond with a better handle. I grew up in the 70s, loved Smokey and the Bandit, was in to CB/Trucker culture, but I never came up with a good CB Handle. Now I have the same problem. How have you come up with your username? Any suggestions for someone who after over 30 years is still challenged in that area?

11. You can change your username, but if you do, you will lose your post count.

It will go back to zero.

If you don't mind losing that count, go ahead and change your username.
