Hi all,
Can any of you provide info on good, TRUSTWORTHY programs you have used to file federal taxes electronically?
EASY to use would be a plus, also.
I have always filed by paper. The IRS is incredibly slow in processing anymore. I am aware the IRS has free file . Can I use that even if my income is over the
Free limit, and just pay for the service??
Thank you!

(13,181 posts)in 6 weeks and my stimulus check ( which I hadnt previously received) in my hands, while many who filed electronically were still waiting. Besides, if you owe them money, whats the rush. Just dont give them a free loan and you wont be anxious for your own money to be returned to you.

In 2019 it wasnt until 13 months later they finally processed it. And again, they had my money. Feb 19-Mar 20.
Ive used TaxAct online for several years and found it to be user-friendly and reasonably priced.
