For some reason I don't understand all my settings on DU have been changed, and DU displays in a way that I find totally confusing and off the wall. How do I get back to where things were two hours ago?

(8,742 posts)I did a system restore yesterday, which worked, but then this morning getting back on DU had the same problem.
But now it's back to "normal" which happened after I posted in this thread.
I'm using Windows 10 Home, Microsoft Edge.
I have no idea what's happening, which is quite unnerving since i'm working against a deadline and don't have time to fuck around with stupid computer issues.
Right now--seems to be working. Will it last? Have no idea.
Anyway, thanks for whatever help. I have a meeting to go to now--which I hope won't be screwed up--but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Considering the amount of money I pay every month it's quite irritating to have to spend so much time on this, and to get absolutely zero by way of customer service from Microsoft, or Xfinity, or any of our wonderful on-line services.

(10,887 posts)a separate file), and I've noticed lately that once in awhile, the style sheet doesn't load right away (I use Firefox, not Edge, BTW), and I don't see any formatting at first. If it doesn't load on its own after that, I reload the page, and then the page looks normal.

(34,057 posts)try shutting your device down and turn it back on. Or unplug it and plug it back in.

Did a system restore yesterday which took an hour or more, which worked, but now it's back to the screwed up version. Among other things I can only see half the DU page, can get no graphics...
Vert irritating.

I finally did a complete system restore, which took a while but seems to have worked.
Still don't know why this happened, but I suppose all's well that ends well.
