What does trash the forum mean, I hit it instead of search the forum. Thanks

You won't see any posts from that forum show up in your Latest Thread feed.

You should see a yellow Restore This Forum at the top. ETA: Sorry, it's actually Restore This Group.

5. All the main forums say Cannot Subscribe.

Subscribing is for the smaller groups. If you subscribe to a group you will start seeing all the new posts in that group on your Latest Threads page.

I have The Lounge trashed because I did not want all the Lounge posts cluttering up my Latest Threads page. But I can still go to The Lounge and see everything by clicking on the link at the top left of the page. When I go to The Lounge I see a yellow Restore This Group button instead of the Trash This Forum button.

It only affects what you see displayed on your Latest Threads page. If you don’t use that for navigating around DU, you won’t notice any difference.
