DU Community Help
Related: About this forumWhy am I asked to type in confirmation
by copying words to confirm on all the videos. When I enter in them it continues to ask for more confirmation by copying more of them. It is endless.
I am not a bot.
Just discovered this is also for some links on threads to view videos.

(1,445 posts)I just tried again to view a video and was not asked.
Added Duck Duck Go to my browser so do not know if that helped. For some reason Google had taken its place instead.

Google asks for the Captcha when it thinks a connection is suspicious. But for some reason it seems to be overreacting to normal connections from Apple users.
Unfortunately I dont think theres anything we at DU can do because the problem is occurring in embedded content from YouTube which we do not control.
The link I provided above may contain possible solutions. Ive also seen the issue just resolve itself randomly.

(1,445 posts)I added Duck Duck Go to Browser Safari. Plus I also saw Google had been tracking me on top of it.
The last two weeks Google has been popping up all over for me. It is as if it removed my Duck Duck. Turned out it did? Google is butt nasty IMHO.

Safari was dropping my DU login cookies ( and then it Stopped). It loses all my typing if I do anything else (loses cache). Everything up to date. And the phone says it's full when it's half empty. I will make a second backup, erase the phone and restore, because that "used up" space says "system memory" and nothing else I tried fixes this bug. And I don't know if this will work, but I have an intuition that it will.
I actually have lots of great things to do, but it's too goddam hot to go outside.
Forget what they say about retirement being fun. It's more of the same incompetent programming and user-hostile websites, and I get paid zero to deal with all of it. Plus, no job means no free air conditioning.
Thank goodness I have photography and music to counter this internet programmed by morons and run by sociopaths.
And have a truly wonderful day!
