Good evening, DU.

I continue to be overwhelmed by your words of encouragement and all in response to a recent post by a dear DUer who shared a situation that I've been experiencing.

Health issues, supposedly delayed complicated grief and an assortment of you-name-it.

I'm so weary. My Faith being put to a strong and difficult test.

I have a handful of personal support, but I shared with my priest the OP that my dear DU buddy did for me. I got all choked up telling Father.

I would be in more pronounced dire straits without you dear ones' display of lovingkindness.

Gratefully,
sprinkleeninow

1. Love yourself.

"For us, warriors are not what you think of as warriors. The warrior is not someone who fights, because no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who can not provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity." – Sitting Bull

But remember to take care of yourself first.

As my people would say,
May those who love us, love us.
And those who don't love us, may God turn their hearts.
If He doesn't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we'll know them by their limping.

Remember, even those who are young grow weak, and can fall exhausted. We are praying for you, that your strength may be renewed, and that you may rise on wings like an eagle. We are praying that your memories of love and peace and joy will comfort you as you go through this dark night in your life, and will guide you to a wonderful happy morning.

Wish we could all surround you and hug you and just BE there with you for awhile.

I guess we'll have to settle for posting.

I have been sending kind and loving vibes after hearing you are going through a rough patch. Hopefully things will right themselves and be better soon!

In the meantime, I hope you find this as uplifting as I do....

I love 💕 the music 🎶 you post. I usually read DU at night and can’t play music without waking up my partner, but most of bookmarks are your music so I can hear them later.
(My first career was an orchestra cellist, so you see why. )
