DU4 Issue: phone randomly switches in and out of Skinner mode

I do not understand when or why that is happening, but it has been doing that today.
My account is set for Skinner mode, and has been since the earlier beta testing period. It did not do that during beta test period.
I am using Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

1. Ah, that's a new one...

I think that a number of the issues we're experiencing today might be related, and they're to do with stylesheet files not loading correctly. To be clear, we suspected that we would run into issues like this after launch -- while we did plenty of testing, there are some differences between the way the software runs on the test server vs. the main servers, and we were unable to predict exactly what errors might pop up when we switched to the main servers. Now that we've done the switch, we have to track down and squash any remaining bugs that we couldn't identify before. It's my hope that we will be able to resolve these issues quickly, but I appreciate your patience.

Could you give me some more information about this one? When you say it switches in and out of Skinner Mode, do you mean that sometimes the page looks like it should (ie. in Skinner Mode) and sometimes the page looks like DU4 default mode? Or does the page lose its styling entirely and just look like a bunch of basic text?

Have you noticed any pattern at all? Does the problem occur when you're doing anything specific? Can you reproduce the error by repeating a particular action, so the error occurs the same way each time? Or does it just appear to be truly random?

2. To answer your questions...

I am never getting the 'lack of stylesheet' plain text. It just decides to go to DU4 default look and then later may go back to Skinner.
I checked my account settings on the phone - they did say Skinner, and one time I tried 'saving' the account settings from phone - even though i did not change them at all, but it made no difference.
Before I sent my report I was lamenting the DU4 default and wondering if there was any way to get out of it, then I when i clicked a post or a nav button (sorry I cannot recall which) it swapped back to Skinner - but as I say, this happened a few times.

I hope the info helps - I know you have a lot to chase down in such issues, and if I have any further observations about when and how this happens, I will be sure to report back so that it may be of help.

4. yesterday and last night I was randomly switched to the old from the new and then back again.

I seem to be in the new today-trying to find my way around.

5. FYI - this has stopped happening for me ...

or at least I will testify that since a bit later in the day yesterday from when I first reported, this has not happened since.

3. Same thing has been happening to me today ... Skinner mode just slides into DU4 mode

several times an hour. Turn the page and the format changes. That's how I found out that there are no setting 'notifications' while in Skinner mode.
