Accidentally tapped Alert while scrolling

I tried to back out of it but not sure if I was successful. Anything that I should do??

1. Sending an alert is a multi-step process

You have to click the "Alert" button, select a rule violation from the list, and then finally click the button to send the alert. If you didn't go through the full process, no alert was sent.

4. I do that periodically, never to the second step

I also frequently hit the delete X when trying to open a thread. Bad thumbs.

No harm done. I have alerted on the wrong post a couple of times as well.
