Although I'd suspect even Dodge City isn't "Dodge City" - at least not anymore.

2. Some creep was at a Lexington, KY Kroger with a gun

A good friend of mine saw him and ended up having words with him. (That worried me) He told her he was there demonstrating his "God given right to carry a gun." She emailed Kroger to ask about this policy. She emailed me their reply:

Thank you for contacting Kroger Customer Connect with your inquiry on the Concealed Weapons policy within our stores. Kroger complies with state law as it relates to customers carrying weapons.

I hope this information proves useful. If there is anything further I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact me. As always, thank you for shopping with Kroger.

Sincerely,

Leah

4. I wonder what would happen if the little girl brought in a squirt gun filled with lemonade...

... and squirted what she was drinking in to her mouth with that. That would be a good test to see if one couldn't carry a squirt gun but could carry a real gun in to the store!

Better yet, perhaps as an organized demonstration, a whole group of people could do that all at once to see what store personnel would do and maybe get some media coverage out of it. Maybe even have someone show up with a real gun at the same time to really illustrate it to the public too.
