Should he win the Aug. 13 primary and, later, the Oct. 16 special election, Holt said that he envisions working with current senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin as a progressive. Holt counts universal healthcare, lowering student interest rates and fighting climate change as traditionally progressive ideals that he plans to support in the Senate. -
