What are your favorite comedies?

Looking for some funny movies to pull me out of my post election malaise.

1. ALL time favorite: What We Do In the Shadows,

the movie version that came before the series. But it's hard to find.

2. It's hard to beat Airplane.

Though if you're like me you've seen it a million times.

But I haven't seen it in a while. Maybe time for a rewatch.

6. In the same vein, Naked Gun is a good movie as well.

I didn't care much for the sequels but the original still makes me laugh.

4. Nothing has ever made me laugh as hard as "This Is Spinal Tap."

And with the same director (Christopher Guest) and many of the same actors, A Mighty Wind, Best In Show and Waiting for Guffman. They all cracked me up.

So many quotable lines from that film. So what has Sir Christopher been up to lately?

11. Holy Grail & Young Frankenstein

Those two come to mind first, saw them at the theater when they came out.

Surprisingly, Ruthless People with Bette Midler and Danny Devito gave me some good laughs.
