On March 23, in some year that no one can figure out, actress Joan Crawford was born.

Her entry at Wikipedia agrees with the day, but says the year of her birth was sometime from 1904 through 1908.

Actress Joan Crawford was #BornOnThisDay, March 23, 1900,1904, or 1906- her career spanned 6 decades, as a major movie star. A true film star she is remembered today for accusations of child abuse, alcoholism, & sexual promiscuity. Passed in 1977 from #cancer/heartattack. #RIP

incredibly unpleasant looking she was. Of course, there was Bette Davis too--just a symbol of the time,s I guess. But both made my skin crawl on the big screen.
