(6,698 posts)I'd have to say that I enjoyed Wall-E most of all the Pixar offerings, but Up is one of the greats to be sure.
When I was in-between marriages, a buddy and I used to go to the Pixar movies together. I remember sitting in Up, and at about the ten minute mark when the tissues starting coming out all over the theater, I sat there with a lump in my throat and moisture welling up in my eye. Afterwards, we were doing our Siskel & Ebert routine of comparing notes, and he confessed that he too was a bit misty-eyed. Then we had a really long conversation about the biplane-flying dogs.

Seriously though, welcome. Usually by the time I welcome someone to DU, 17 other people have done it first, so this is a new one for me.
Thank you for the warm welcome!
