Robinson leads USA Women's National Team to FIBA U16 AmeriCup 2025 Title
IRAPUATO, Mexico — After the United States U16 Women’s Basketball National Team cruised past Canada 85-59 in the championship game of the FIBA U16 AmeriCup, Plano East rising sophomore guard Arianna Robinson changed her profile picture on her personal “X” (formerly Twitter) account.
Her new picture showed a United States flag wrapped around her body, her biting on the gold medal and holding the championship trophy in her left arm.
Sunday’s victory marked the fifth straight time that the United States has won the AmeriCup.
It was complete domination by the USA women, which won all five games by at least 25 points, as the squad went a perfect 5-0 in Mexico.
