Rookie Paige Bueckers among starters in WNBA All-Star Game
he WNBA has announced the remaining starters for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game on Monday, and headlining the list is rookie guard Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings, who will make her All-Star debut as a starter in her first season.
Bueckers will join fellow backcourt starter Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, who was named a team captain after leading all players in fan votes with a record 1,293,526. Also in the backcourt are three-time All-Star Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream) and four-time All-Star Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty).
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, who earned the second-most fan votes (1,176,020), will serve as the other All-Star captain alongside Clark. The captains will select their teams from the pool of starters and upcoming reserves.
In the frontcourt, Seattle Storm veteran Nneka Ogwumike leads the selections with her 10th career All-Star nod, tying her with Tamika Catchings and Brittney Griner for the third-most in WNBA history. Seven-time All-Stars Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) and Aja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces) also return, alongside three-time All-Stars Aliyah Boston (Indiana Fever) and Satou Sabally (Phoenix Mercury).
