Trump says he's 'not joking' about seeking a third term - CNN Newsroom

Donald Trump did not dismiss the idea of pursuing a third term in the White House, despite the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution prohibiting it, claiming that “there are methods” to achieving this and emphasizing that he was “not joking” in a phone interview with NBC News’ Kristen Welker. CNN’s Betsy Klein reports on Trump's latest comments and ex-Nixon White House counsel John Dean joins CNN’s Jessica Dean to discuss. - Aired on 03/30/2025.

Serious.
It likely is just a big distraction to get people off the signal disaster.

And how much will be left of our democracy by then given his constant anti-democratic actions each and every day?? It's only been 2 months...

Of course I said that to my friends back in 2016 and they all agreed with me... *sigh*

There are methods and the Constitution has the final say..the only method that matters. Personally, I don’t think he will be here before the dust even settles on this issue should he pursue it.

This week has been a whiplash of issues..Smithsonian Institution meddling, Signal disaster, four missing Marines in Lithuania that he doesn’t seem to care about, bird flu and measles on the rise but a tee time is his priority as we spiral out of control. Let’s see how the stock markets do this week..

But we tried that twice, for the first time in our history, and we know how that turned out. The only way that Republicans would have the courage to vote yes this time is if there were anonymous ballots, they're too afraid of TFG's violent retribution.

Given the horror they all experienced and witnessed on January 6th. But too many were afraid of the threats to themselves and their family. As it was, 10 House members voted yes on impeachment, but only 2 of them were reelected. TFG's campaign of lies about the election worked. And many used the excuse that TFG would soon be gone, anyway. *sigh*
