During a phone interview with Kristen Welker, Donald Trump said, “if Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia.” - Aired on 03/30/2025.

Russian oil? I would think that will raise all oil prices.

This would probably be the only tariff I might approve of. I’m sure it’s not for the right reasons of course, but if Biden did that, I might have approved of it. That could starve the beast.
