Related: About this forumFormer US VP Al Gore says 'reaction to Trump's assault on democracy is very strong' FRANCE 24
Al Gore, the 45th Vice President of the United States (19932001), granted a rare interview to FRANCE 24 in Paris. The renowned environmentalist took stock of the green transition, with Donald Trump's return to the White House expected to usher in a comeback of fossil fuels in the US. But for Gore, "the renewable energy revolution is unstoppable". He also said that Trump "actively deceived the American people" during his election campaign by denying all knowledge of the conservative blueprint Project 2025, adding that "the reaction to Trump's assault on democracy is very, very strong".

My father was an engineer so the threat of climate change was part of my childhood. Humanity now has the technology at its fingertips to finally move away from the planet killing fossil fuels. tRump won't be able to stop it.

his sycophants, his hideous offspring, or that refuse he calls his wife.

Rachel Maddow has been doing a very good job of documenting all of the protest, many of which are happening in very red places. Let's not forget the heated town halls in repug Congressional districts that's now got repugs refusing to hold town halls. Have you also not seen all of the Tesla dealership protests?
