'Democrats need to get on board': Top Dem on why Mamdani is 'the future'

I like Mamdani for places like NYC.

How about we just have normal primaries and let our voters decide on our candidates

from traditional status quo populations: bankers, landlords, local business communities, corporations, Republicans, religious organizations. It's not a slam dunk just because it plays in NYC.

chose their own winners. (I always sort of thought that was what democracy was suppose to be about)

But I'm also well, well past the place where I need to be told I need to do this, and need to support (and 'get on board' with) that ... Thank you very much, my friend - but (just as in the above example of voters choosing .. ), I feel quite capable and competent in making up my own mind about quite a good number things ... Among them, party 'direction', and character, qualification, substance, abilities, etc. of presented candidates ...

And that would emphatically include my evaluations of Mr. Mandani - and whether or not he is my (or anyone else's) future ...
And, again - thank you for your concern - but, can kinda' do without the lectures.

Voters should have a fair choice, not be pushed by party leaders and big money.

and allowing me the freedom (and basic respect) to do the same for myself - sans the scolding on who is a legitimate source of information and whose opinion on XYZ bears more weight. Again, it is just slightly demeaning to be accounted incapable of deciding these things on my own without guidance from the vastly more cognizant or insinuation that I am being steered or 'pushed'.
Nope - just me - making up my own mind - thanks!
