LIVE: Senate 'vote-a-rama' on Trump's massive agenda bill - MSNBC

This discussion thread is pinned.

Watch live coverage as the Senate votes on unlimited amendments to the Republican domestic policy bill in what's known on Capitol Hill as a "vote-a-rama." The 940-page legislation, which the Senate advanced on a 51-49 vote late Saturday, was still taking shape even as the marathon vote began.

Republicans need to hold 50 of their 53 senators to pass the bill. They have lost Sens. Rand Paul, of Kentucky, who complained that it adds too much to the national debt, and Thom Tillis, of North Carolina, who blasted the Medicaid cuts as damaging to his home state. - Airing on 06/30/2025.

Republicans.

So far the Republicans do. not. have. the votes. Which is why this big bug parasite bill hasn't passed by now at 10:30 pm.

It could be that 5 senators -- Murkowski, Tillis, Rand Paul, and two other unknowns -- will end this bill.
If so, they do it because they know their fossil billionaire owners don't deserve the drop in the bucket they insist on being paid, at the expense of 15 million fellow Americans who will suffer and die because of these billionaires' greed.
